Evidence of Audience Research
 
 
 
We used several different methods in order to collect good audience research for our Finn Riggins "Benchwarmers" and our original Joint Honours "Windows" music video. Amongst these are our Vox Pops and an online Poll Everywhere.
 
 
 
Vox Pops
 
 
 
 
 
Our Vox Pops showed several different opinions of people who are all demographically and pyschographically have different views on music videos so this gave us an idea to base our initial ideas on. Even though each and every person had different overall vies, they all had the same basic expectation for a music video, such as it having to be exciting and show good and interesting conventions in order to get them to watch it.

As you can see, the poll depicts that most of the aspects of our initial edit of our music video were positive, such as having an unconventional and unique storytelling aspect behind it. In addition, we had feedback on aspects that need improving, such as the fact we need to include lip synching and our text on the video needs improving.
