Analysis of Audience Feedback and The Impact On Our Production.
We gained and developed several new ideas from our audience feedback. First of all, we conducted a poll for our music video in order to receive audience feedback and subsequently guidance on how to make positive improvements for our final product.
For the Poll, which on a side note was vital for the feedback, served as a good example on how we acted on feedback given to us. One person suggested that we should include lip-syncing "No lip syncing". We had not done that as of that moment but we then subsequently decided to improve upon that by incorporating lip-sync sequences to keep the pace of the music video instead of breaks of nothing between the action sequences. This disrupted the flow of the action and by incorporating the lip-sync, this combined the two together to make a near immaculate sequence and it has seamless transitions from singing to acting.
Finally, we also acted upon a comment saying "The text is possibly hard to read". Even though we did not believe this, we took the initiative upon this to show that we are willing to listen to feedback and use the information given to us in a positive way. Overall, we increased the size of the writing and we put an outline at the sides of the text to make it stand out against the background, it was then clearly readable.
On a whole though, considering the music video was only 90% done, we received more positive feedback than we did negative, so this is a good sign that we were on the right track with our ideas overall. In addition, we elaborated upon comments such as "Easy to follow the storyline" and "Great shots, good pace editing" to expand and round off the music video in an exceptional way that will set a standard for us in the future to follow.
